This weekend, I will be kicking off a 3-part series called “23” where we will be walking through Psalm 23 verse-by-verse. This was one of the first chapters of the Bible I memorized thanks to my Sunday school teacher. I believe that this is a timely message in a culture where we are consumed with “self”. In this series we will be learning about how the good shepherd leads us, is with us, and prepares us. In a season of God-given growth in the life of our church, it’s also important to go back to what scripture has to say about our church’s name.

In part 1, we will explore what it looks like to allow the good shepherd to lead us. This will tie in to VBS Sunday because in order to be led by someone, we need to have trust in them.
