GSBC Change?

This week we will be wrapping up our series titled "Embracing Change." My message for this Sunday is titled "GSBC Change?" The question mark is intentional. We will be asking the question if we as a church are willing to embrace change in order to grow, move forward, and reach others for God. Our Scripture for this week is Haggai 2:1-5. In this scripture Haggai lets us know that we should not look to the past to try to get back there. But instead, we should look at the past as a way to gauge if we have progressed or changed for the better. In this passage he gives us three commands on how we can go about doing that: 1) Be Strong, 2) Work, 3) Fear Not. I believe it will be a message that challenges not only as a church but also as individuals in our walk with the Lord. Are we willing to not fear change but instead embrace change!
