Forget About It

This week we take some time to celebrate Good Shepherd Baptist Church's 34th year anniversary! Although I have not been here for the entire 34 years. It has been my honor and joy to have shared some of the memories in these past few years. I believe that God has done great amazing things here at GSBC and is still at work in and through our church! Even though God has done so many great things, I still believe the best is still to come!.

In this week's message titled "Forget About It" we will learn to remember all the things that God has done in our past while at the same time forgetting about it in order to look towards the future. I like to say it like this. Don't forget it, but forget it! Are you confused already? Here's the deal: It's good to remember God's faithfulness - how He has worked, provided, and moved in our lives to get us to where we are today. Remembering gives us confidence for the future because if He did it before, He will do it again! Then why should we forget about it? So that we won't rely on yesterday's faith. Don't get so caught up in the past blessings and miracles that you miss what God is doing right now!

I believe it will be a powerful message that reminds us that God has been at work and continues to be at work at GSBC. Let's continue to make ourselves available to be used by God for His Glory and until He calls us all home!
