Joy
This week we will continue with our mini Christmas series titled "Tidings of Comfort and Joy." In this series we are learning that Jesus carried "Comfort" and "Joy" into Christmas.
The title of this week's message is "Joy." In this message we will learn that Jesus carried "Joy" into Christmas. A little over 2,000 years ago, God sent His son Jesus to die on the cross for our sin and through that salvation we can have "Joy." However, what so many of us do is that we are grateful for our salvation, but we tend to put it on a shelf in a closet and there it sits. We will learn in this message that our "Joy" is found in our salvation. Salvation that we should not keep in a closet but to be put on and walked in on a daily basis. When we do that, we can have "Joy" regardless of what we have going on in our life.
So, If you are in need of "Joy" during this Christmas season. We can confidently know that Jesus has "Joy" to give us. It's under the tree, we just have to open it. I believe it will be a message that points us to Jesus for our "Joy." He carried it with Him into Christmas. He knows what we need!
Scripture: Jeremiah 31:13
