⚡️Get energized now!

From time to time, we’ll find ourselves in those places in life where we are feeling defeated, deflated, depleted, and discouraged. Whether it’s due to ongoing career pressure, a health situation, a rough patch in marriage, or just being in an ugly place in life, we’re all subject to experiencing those environments that exhaust us. Been there. Done that.

Today, this devotional intends on reminding all of us that we don't have to stay in those places. Hope, breakthroughs, and miracles are always on the horizon because God is always at work in our lives. Read that last sentence again. ⏮️

📖1 Thessalonians 2:13 says that the word of God” is at WORK in our lives”.

🔥The word WORK used in the original Greek means ENERGY: ἐνεργής (en-erg-eh'-o) (G1756) - to be ACTIVE, in action, effectively at work.

Every-time you see, hear, and read God’s word, you are giving it the opportunity to reside inside of you and take root. Therefore, it’ll grow The Fruit of the Spirit which includes the manifestation of God’s love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (‬Galatians ‭5‬:‭22‬-‭23‬).

So, the more you hear and receive the word, the more it energizes, empowers, and revitalizes your life! Yes! It will work inside of you because The Word works! It always does! (Isaiah 55:10–11)

Here are some practical ways I’d love for you follow in order to allow the word to energize your life right now:

1. Make scripture visible to your eyes - Post the most inspiring scriptures visibly in your living space, bathroom mirror, car, book bags, etc.  Every time you set your eyes on those scriptures, you’ll be reminded of and be affirmed of God’s truth. Use sticky notes, index cards, or get creative and frame inspiring verses. Put the scriptures where you can be reminded constantly of God’s goodness!

2. Recite and memorize scripture. Read scripture out loud into the atmosphere - it’ll energize you and reaffirm God’s truth in your heart through declaring and hearing the word.

3. Pray the scriptures - as you’re praying to God, read His word. There’s no better time to hear from God’s word than during your prayer time.

4. Dedicate a time and space for scripture - Choose a specific day of the week to go to the park, coffee shop, or other quiet place to solely dedicate it for scripture reading time. If you make space and time for Bible reading, you’ll be sure to build a healthy habit.

5. Journal and highlight scriptures - Get yourself a journal dedicated to record scriptures that ignite to your life. Make it colorful, fun, and enjoyable.
